Lyla's House provides sensory reset spaces at events, designed to offer a calm and soothing environment for neurodivergent kids. These spaces are equipped with sensory-friendly tools such as soft lighting, noise-canceling headphones, tactile toys, and comfortable seating. The purpose is to help children with sensory processing challenges manage overstimulation, allowing them to take a break and regulate their sensory input in a controlled, supportive setting.
These sensory reset spaces are crucial because they provide a safe haven where neurodivergent children can decompress, reducing anxiety and sensory overload. This makes events more inclusive and enjoyable for them, ensuring they have a positive experience without the stress of overwhelming stimuli. By offering these spaces, Lyla's House supports the well-being and participation of all children, promoting inclusivity and understanding within the community.
